Brampton will come alive with the rhythm, flavour and spirit of the Caribbean as the JAMBANA One World Festival lights up Brampton Sports Park on Monday, August 3, 2026. Presented by TD and in collaboration with the City of Brampton, the free festival celebrates Emancipation Day with an unforgettable day of live entertainment, cultural experiences, and family-friendly activities.

Recognized as one of Canada’s premier multicultural festivals, JAMBANA brings together thousands of attendees each year to honour the rich heritage and lasting contributions of the African and Caribbean diaspora while celebrating the diversity that makes Canada stronger.

Headlining this year’s festival is legendary Jamaican reggae artist Glen Washington, whose soulful voice and timeless catalogue have earned him fans around the world.

Joining him on stage is an outstanding lineup of performers, including six-time Juno Award-winning reggae artist Exco Levi & High Priest, two-time Juno Award nominee Tonya P, the electrifying Pan Masters Steelband, DJ Joshua Lucas, who will provide the musical prescription, and many more exciting performances.

Beyond the entertainment, visitors can explore a vibrant marketplace featuring local artisans and exhibitors while enjoying authentic Caribbean international cuisine. From handmade crafts and delicious dishes to captivating on-stage performances, JAMBANA offers something for every generation.

The festival runs from 1:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and admission is free, making it one of the GTA’s premier summer celebrations.
