2018 is off to a running start for Ontario-based rock band and Toronto Independent Music Award nominees, Rose Cora Perry & The Truth Untold.

January saw the powerhouse trio sharing the stage with industry vets Chuck Wright (Quiet Riot), Chris Ralles (Pat Benatar), Mitch Perry (The Sweet) and L7 at the legendary Whisky a Go Go’s Ultimate Jam Night in West Hollywood. In California for NAMM week promoting their new sponsorship deals with Blackstar Amplification and Mapex Canada, the ambitious Canadians also managed to snag an exclusive artist spotlight for PBS' hot new TV show, "Musicology". The excitement continued during the month of February when the Canucks returned to their home soil and confirmed they’ll be releasing their first ever ‘band’ E.P. later this year.

This March, however, the alt-rockers announced what will undoubtedly be the highlight of their summer: they’ve been hand-selected by founder Kevin Lyman himself to perform as special guests on the only Canadian date (Toronto) of the last ever Vans Warped Tour.

Founded in 1995, Vans Warped Tour is the longest running traveling music festival in North American history and its legacy boasts performances by Joan Jett, Bad Religion, Eminem, Weezer and No Doubt. Canadian Warped alum includes LIGHTS, Bif Naked, Sum41, Silverstein and Simple Plan; the latter three of which will all be returning to the Warped stage for this year’s final farewell.

Sticking true to its mandate, the 2018 lineup will once again equally showcase up and comers alongside their more established peers. Attendees can expect a solid mix of punk, ska, alternative and hardcore bands with guest appearances by “locals” like Rose Cora Perry & The Truth Untold.Though this year will mark the group’s Warped debut, Perry herself is no stranger to the festival’s experience, having previously performed on the Shiragirl and MySpace stages in the early 2000s with her former grunge quartet, Anti-Hero.

Pre-sale “Superfan” ticket bundles are now available at for $100 each and include memorabilia highlighting the festival’s incredible two-decade run. General admission tickets can also be purchased for each city.

Warped hits Toronto on Tuesday, July 17th at The Flats at Budweiser Stage (909 Lake Shore Blvd W, Toronto ON, M6K 3L3). Doors open at 11:00 am.
